Wednesday, February 21st, 6pm-8pm

Paella with Cortney - $75     Register

Learn the history and heritage of this classic Spanish dish!  In this class we will discuss rice, spices, ingredients, and soccarat more!!  This is a hand- on class – each group will make a different style of paella.

Squash isn’t just for Fall!!  Join Ashley in this class where you learn all about different varieties of winter squash and how to incorporate them into your daily menus.  This is a hands-on class.

My absolute favorite Comfort Food!  This French vegetable stew combines Tomatoes, Onion, Zucchini, Grilled Eggplant and Bell Peppers with various Herbs and the most delicious spice combination called Herbs de Provence.  Even though this stew has no meat, you will quickly come to the realization that it is not missed.  It would not be right to have this French comfort food without doing a little French Wine pairing!

Find out what proper “Southern Brisket” is supposed to feel, smell and most importantly TASTES like.  You will not only learn how to correctly prepare and smoke a Beef Brisket (to include how to oven prepare), but also eat your weight in this coveted cut of beef.  We will also harken into our Cicerone (A Sommelier for beer) palates and pair with a locally brewed beer.  For our non-alcohol consumers, he will be showing how to prepare the most addicting and non-alcoholic concoction known to man, known only as Shrub.  A mixture of White Balsamic Vinegar and Sparkling Water.  This is a hands-on class.

Whether you’re a fulltime vegetarian or only “Meatless on Monday” this hands-on class will guide you through cooking with vegetables.  This time around we will focus on veggie burgers, you can eat them on a bun, throw them in a salad, wrap them in a tortilla or lettuce any way you stack it these veggie patties will be sure to satisfy your burger cravings!  Not to mention they’re jam-packed with protein & fiber! More pressure cooker recipes to keep you inspired!  In this class we continue to learn how to use our pressure cookers as multi-use kitchen helpers.  We will take 5 regular stovetop recipes and convert them into pressure cooker recipes!  We will cover how to adjust for time, cooking method, the order of ingredients, altitude and more.  By the time you leave this class you will be able to go home and convert your favorite recipes to pressure cooker recipes.  This is a hands-on class.

Take a journey through time in this incredible series, packed with food history, recipes and more.  Learn how the food of days gone by has defined our current day food culture and how we eat today. In this first class we use vintage Fannie Farmer cookbooks covering recipes from the 1890’s and 1910’s.  Who was Fannie Farmer and how does she impact what we do in our kitchens today?  Why was she important in the landscape of American food history? These recipes showcase classic Americana cookery and how their humble beginnings have become pantry staples of our everyday lives.  Take these classes and become a well-rounded cook and have a full comprehension about how food has evolved over the past 200 years.  This is a hands-on class.

Yep, you heard it right – CONDIMENTS!!  These simple, every day necessities are filled with preservatives, sugar and all kind of other nefarious ingredients.  Learn how simple and easy it is to create these at home.  And they are more delicious than the store-bought version.  And don’t worry about dinner – we’ll be pairing each condiment with it’s favorite food.  This is a demonstration with hands on participation.

Chef Don Louie teaches you how to make sushi at home.  Learn how to make perfect rice and roll your own sushi rolls.  He will instruct on two rolls, then open it up to you to get creative and make your own combinations.  This is a fun, relaxed hands-on class.  This is a hands-on class.

Perfect Pulled Pork – Celebrating National Meat Month with Chef Eric Stewart - $65     Register

One of the most requested items of Boz Catering! Join us for this fun exploration of Planet of the Crepes!  In this class you will learn how to master the art of the crepe, then break up into groups and make these creative recipes, featuring sweet, savory and breakfast crepes.  Crepes – they aren’t just for dessert anymore!  While you’re snacking on your crepe overload, Chef Cook will break out the fire and flambe Crepes Suzette as a final demonstration.  Impress your friends and family with your newly learned crepe skills!  This is a hands-on class.

What to Bring:  We only require that you bring yourself and a positive attitude 😊 We’ll take care of the rest!!  Aprons are provided as needed for your use during class.  We often have leftovers – feel free to bring your own to-go containers, just in case we have something that you might want to take home.
